Salt Rising Bread

Your sandwich will never be
the same again! We start by bringing milk and water to a boil
over low heat. The Salt Rising Yeast is added and the mixture
is allowed to sit overnight so that the ingredients can sponge
together! In the morning flour and more water are added and
the mixture rests so it can slowly ferment! This is where the
distinctive flavor and aromas come from! Once the dough has
risen it is carefully rolled and placed into containers where
it is baked slowly in our ovens for 45 minutes! |
